ZGM Walnut Hills “Back to School Bash”
When: Saturday, July 28, 2018
Where: The Alms 2525 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45206
Time: 11:00 a.m, – 4:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to make this year Back To School Bash a success.
Every child will receive a backpack and school supplies. Please sign up in the foyer after each service. We will start accepting donations Saturday, June 23, 2018.
We are kindly asking for donations to fill 300 backpacks with supplies that we will give to kids in that community. Please see the list below and pick a category or categories for your donations. Please place the donations at the collection points in our main foyers by Wednesday, July 25 at 7pm. We will pack items on Friday, July 27th.
Preschool Backpack to include: 1 – pair of Fiskar Blunt Tip Scissors, 1 lunch bag or lunch box, mini hand sanitizer, pocket tissue packs, 2 – glue sticks, 1 box of crayons (8-count), 12 – No. 2 pencils, 1 – pink eraser, 1 – package washable markers 8/pkg, 1 – bottle of school glue, 1 – box of tissues.
Elementary School Backpacks to include: 1 box of crayons (16-count), 1 pack of washable markers (8-count), 1 bottle of glue (8 ounces), 4 glue sticks, mini hand sanitizer, 1 large pink eraser, 4 No. 2 pencils, 4 folders with pockets, pocket tissue packs, 1 pair of safety scissors, 1 small pencil sharpener.
Middle School Backpacks to include: binder dividers,
1 binder per subject, 1 folder per subject for handouts, highlighters in different colors, 1 pack of No. 2 pencils (12-count), loose-leaf paper (wide-ruled), pens (blue and black), protractor ruler, 1 three-subject spiral notebook, 2 – primary composition notebooks.
High School Backpacks to include: 1 binder per subject, 1 folder per subject for handouts, calculator highlighters in different colors, 1 pack of No. 2 pencils (12-count), loose-leaf paper (college-ruled or wide- ruled), 2 packages of 1/4-inch graph paper, pens (blue and black), ruler, 1 three- or five-subject spiral notebook, zip drive or USB drive.
